We’re a Shoreditch restaurant that brings the fire, the flavour, and a whole lot of soul. But let us clarify, we’re not your typical BBQ spot. While we don’t do ribs by the rack or brisket by the pound, what we do offer is big, bold dishes kissed by smoke, cooked over our open wood-fired grill, and served with a hearty side of Irish charm.

At Daffodil Mulligan, our BBQ influence runs deep. Not in the traditional Texan sense, but in the bold, fire-led cooking that brings smoke, char, and soul to every plate. Our open wood-fired grill is the beating heart of the kitchen, turning out dishes that are robust, rustic, and packed with flavour. From our Sugar Pit Pork, slow cooked to melting perfection and finished over flame, to the Smoked Short Rib served with scallion potato cake and red cabbage slaw, every bite is a tribute to smoke, sear, and seasonal ingredients.

Even the veg gets a grilling. Charred hispi cabbage, roast Miso Squash with sesame, and delicious smoked Ember and Soda Bread to mop up anything extra. It’s BBQ with an Irish twist, driven by the culinary pedigree of Richard Corrigan, where fire is used not just for show, but for serious depth. For example, enjoy favourites on our menu like our Cauliflower Bhaji, charred, spiced, and served with smoked pineapple and cashew cream, or the Salt Chilli Fried Chicken, finished with a zingy tangle of chilli pickles and mustard. Seafood gets the fire treatment too, with dishes like the Queenie Scallop with garlic, chilli, and salty fingers, and Cornish Mussels swimming in smoky butter and fresh parsley. Every dish is crafted with flavour first, using quality produce and a fearless approach to the mastery of the grill. The Red Apple Sour, with Redbreast whiskey, Calvados, lemon, and whites, is the perfect balance of bite and smoothness, as well as plenty of other traditional classics.
